The Bothy is a recently converted and purpose built holiday home, which sleeps four people. We have tried to retain as many of its original features as possible, whilst also providing modern, comfortable accommodation. The open plan kitchen and dining area looks out over the private garden and patio towards the North Sutor, whilst the living room has views over the Cromarty Firth to the hills of Sutherland.
Living room: 2 x two seat sofas, coffee table, TV with Freeview, DVD/BluRay player. Wood burning stove (an initial supply of logs and kindling is provided). Bluetooth speakers for iPad/smartphone. Furnished and decorated to maintain the character of the building whilst ensuring a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. There is also a selection of books and games as well as maps and guides of Cromarty and the surrounding area.
Kitchen: well-equipped, fully fitted kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, washer/drier, kettle, toaster, plus all the pots and pans, crockery, cutlery and glasses you'll need. Table and chairs to sit four. High chair also provided. The kitchen has a DAB radio. The dining area has large bi-fold doors that open out onto decking allowing an indoors/outdoors feel.
Shower Room: spacious shower room with rainforest shower, wash basin and WC. Storage units. Situated on the ground floor. Underfloor heating and a de-misting mirror.
Main Bedroom: situated upstairs in the eaves of The Bothy. Double bed, small dressing table. Built-in wardrobe for hanging clothes.
Downstairs bedroom: twin beds, bright and airy. Large chest of drawers.
Other information: the upstairs of The Bothy is accessed by an easy to climb staircase. There is a large, spacious garden with a paved area to the entrance, decking from the kitchen, large gravelled area suitable for BBQs (BBQ with initial complimentary charcoal provided) and a large grassed area in which to enjoy the views.
There is free Wi-fi internet access. All bed linen, towels and electricity are included in the price. The Bothy is stocked with a starter supply of washing up liquid, washing machine tablets, toilet rolls and other kitchen and bathroom supplies.
A deposit of 25% of the total tariff is requested in advance to secure your booking. The balance is payable 4 weeks prior to commencement of your holiday (or by arrangement for short notice bookings). A refundable good housekeeping deposit of £100 will be required as part of your final balance payment.
There is onsite parking for two cars.
One well behaved dog is welcome at an additional cost of £30 (small or medium dogs only please). All dog mess must be cleared by the owner before departure.
No smoking is permitted within the Bothy.
